“When local citizens found out this early 20th century water tower in Barnard was to be demolished by the City, they formed a nonprofit organization to raise money to save it. Though still severely threatened, grassroots efforts are underway to protect this uncommonly designed tower.”
In 1865, James Coleman hired John Peterson to build the original portion of this house and his decendents have kept it in the family ever since.
